What the Heck is up with School Food???

Ok so school and gernally everybody nowdays are saying how kids are obese and need to get active and eat right. Well I am a kid and the school foods are far from healthy. I have literally gotten hotdogs that when you pick the up the grease rolls of them onto my plate. I have moved quite a bit and gone to many different school and it has been the same everywhere. So why is this if the schools want kids to get healthier why not start with the food first?

School foods are quite nasty now days. I loved school lunches when I went to school but that was years ago. I have taught in the public school's and eaten there lunch and I couldnt believe what was being fed either. To them these are healthier foods. I would start taking my lunch if I were you, that's what I made my son do.
