Ok so I am a 9th grader at my highschool. Nowdays if kids wear roller shoes they get inschool for 1-3 days. If they throw paper they get at least 1 detention. I have even gotten inschool for wearing a hat when I wasnt suppost to! Now that is just plain ridiculous. Why do they crack down on kids so hard. Its not like making us sit in a room all day doing nothing and not attending classes will make us stop doing what we are doing? It is just plain annoying, and they give it to us for the most stupid reasons!

Well, do you think it's appropriate for kids to go walking around like bandits throwing things at eachother and running into people out of stupidity because they don't know how to roller blade???
Roller blading BTW should be strictly done with a helmet because you CAN DIE doing it. I don't think they are too strict infact I think schools are still pretty pathetic. I graduated highschool 3 years ago, and I was still able to cheat during tests it was so pathetic.
If I was in charge of a school I would to my best to make things as hard on the students as possible.

Well you need to give kids a chance. 7 hours a day 5 days a week stuck inside school sitting on there butt. That is boring, and you cant excpect kids to behave like angels. Just give them a break once in a while and instead of suspending them for there first offence, just give them a warning, then the next action should be a punishment

At my school (LHS...you know where I'm tlaking about) it simpily goes, if you break the rules...you get in trouble, if you bend the rules, you probably won't.
