So, I've been posting here for a few days. I know I haven't done much but I posted a bit last night and yesterday but I didn't earn anything from any of it.
Can someone please explain how everything works here? Do you get a certain amount for starting/replying topics? Do you get money when people reply to your topics?
How does the rating system effect your earnings?

I've only been around for a few days, so I may not know much, but I'll tell ya what I've learned so far. You have to post quality posts, meaning usually more than a couple sentences to get paid for it. Also, they only update the pay once a day. People with higher numbered stars earn more money from their posts.

I've been trying to figure the star thing out too. Like why I don't have one or when I will get one. There is just a lot that goes into the equation here and they don't seem to spell it all out anywhere.
Maybe its all a big secret...

Mylot pays according to their "algorithm" which they don't give too much information on. We don't really know how it works. We don't know what is paid most for, responding or starting discussions. They have told us that rating definately effects our earnings
"The DRS is factored into our proprietary earnings algorithm, so this will help us properly reward valuable contributions to the myLot community."
By following the guidelines you will earn more. I have included the links to make it easier for you. These are the same questions we all long to be answered...lol You also can earn posting pictures. You can't post them in your responses until you reach 500 points. But you can post one with discussions you start (make sure it's relevant) and you can post them in interests for more earnings.
I hope this helps you. You will learn more, and more here every day. I find if I look for discussions that really interest me I can add more to it. The more information your response adds to the discussion the more you will make. Good Luck and keep on typing...lol

are you sure....? this system will updated the earning report for every 24 hours. Or maybe will see at your earnings button.

I'm sure, it tells me when the last update was and I know I posted a bit before then and a bit after as well. I'm sure that some of my posts weren't the best quality and might not get any credit for them. But I also know some of them were really good.
It's no biggie, I don't think I'm getting cheated or anything. I just wasn't sure what you get paid for and what you don't.
Thanks!

yeah, be patient, and just wait, mylot does pay. this is what i want to let you know.usually you have to wait for 24 hours, because Mylot updates your earnings every 24 hours.

Like I said before, I can see when they updated the last time and I didn't get any new earnings at that point. So this isn't the problem.
My question here isn't when they pay. It is what the whole equation is for getting paid.
