What do the stars and numbers next to your name mean?

I have a yellow star with a number 8 in it next to my name. What does that mean? I'm still not too hot at driving MyLot, so if anyone can explain this, that'd be awesome, cheers!

The stars next to your name are kinda give an idea of how you are rated in the myLot community. People rate (the +,-,!) and give best response determine the value of these stars. So it is very important to rate all answers to any responses you start and make sure you pick a best response. Others will do the same for you. Before long your star will become a 10.
