Why do you think that lots of Lost Fans are unhappy with Season 3?

I jumped on the Lost bandwagon quite late. I actually watched season one and two on dvd last fall, and watch the first 6 episodes of season 3 on abc.com. So far, I really like season 3, as the story is really developing and there alot of tension between the survivors and the others.
However, on a lot of Lost forums and discussion boards it seems like lots of Lost fans, who have been watching since day 1, aren't very keen on the new season. Why do you think this is?

Well I am mad that the show has taken such a long break! I hardly remember what was going on before. I do remember that some "new" survivors were suddenly in the story lines. They just came out of nowhere.

I feel the season2 is better season3,though the season3 is not end.

I've been watching LOST since season 1 and I like season 3. I think it's a little more focused on the characters than the the mysteries of the Island....so maybe some people don't like that? But I really like character driven stories.
The one thing I didn't like is how long it was between new episodes. I think it's been 13 weeks or so since the last new episode.
