ACCORDING TO MODERN SCIENCE:
The first sense to develop in the developing human embryo is 'hearing'. The fetus can hear sound after the 24th week. subsequently, the sense of sight is developed and by the 28th week, the retina becomes sensitive to light.
1400 Hundred years ago QURAN explained thus:
"Verily WE created man
from a drop of mingled sperm,
in order to try him:
so WE gave him
hearing and sight." [Quran 78:2]
another verse
"It is HE, who created
for you [the sense of] hearing, sight, feeling and
understanding:
little thanks it is you give!" [Quran 23:78]
in both verses the sense of hearing is mentioned before that of sight. thus Quranic description matches perfectly with the discoveries in modern embryology.

I know things like this happen as it happened with my oldest granddaughter. She was ready to be airlifted because whe wasn't breathing on her own. My son-in-law went in and started singing to her and she was breathing on her own before they wheeled my daughter in on a gurney. She had had to have a c-section. My son-in-law would lay his head on my daughter's tummy and sing to the babies before they were born.
