Do you know how to be a good salesman?

hi, I was in sales a few years ago so I hope I can give you a few good tips Have a good sales speech, if you dont have one,make one,and stress in it, each reason they need your product or service and what good its done other customers, they need to feel this is something they need, so smile,make eye contact and when making a statement or point,make eye contact. If you ahve any figures or copied info to share that states the trend of customers or the value of the price, show that. Tehn dont be too pushy, but stress that you care about their needs and would hate to see this oppurtunity pass by. if they decline, give them about a week and send a follow up letter, and thanking them for their time, then occasionally call to tell about sales in items they are interested in, that just might bring them back in!

I just cant be a salesman. i am very shy in those kinds of things. and even i tird getting a job as salesman long time ago but couldn't. they were looking for exprience. I think being a salesman is a skill. some people are naturaly so gud with it.

just be confident on the product you are selling and to yourself...study about your product so you can answer your client's questions...
