My cat, whom I have mentioned on multiple occassions I am sure! (People in their 30's with no kids in the house tend to parent their pets instead!) Is going to the vet today to be spayed. She also got her first set of shots. Ever since she was a cute little ball of fuzz 4 mos ago I have had the pleasure of her entertaining company. I am a bit of a homebody, I don't leave the house much and while we sit at home all day together she is my constant companion and conversational partner. I miss her madly! She is not home and this is the first night since my birthday last October that I have not heard her bell or felt her pounce on my toes. I want my kitty. Is it this easy to fall in love? Has she managed to steal my heart in 4 mos. flat? I guess so because tonight without her is just too quiet.

Cats can be troublesome little critters. I would make sure she has a way in when she comes home. I've been through this and made sure she had a way home. When I woke up, she was sleeping on my feet.

She didn't get out she was at the vet getting her shots and being spayed. She is home now and she is even getting frisky now, just two days after her surgery.

She'll be fine and she'll be home before you know it. Besides, having her spayed is the right thing to do, so thank you (from an animal shelther volunteer)
And believe me, it is so easy to fall in love with an animal. For me, it didn't take 4 months to fall in love with any of my dogs or my cat. It took ONE look, and they had my heart.

She is home and on the mend. Thank goodness, I had worked myself into a state missing her for that almost two days that she was gone!

I have a 6 week old kitten myself. She is my companion and friend. I am 37 years old, never been married, and never had kids. Last year 1 Aug 2007, I had to have emergency surgery which took away my ability to have children period. So yes, I am completely barren. Every since I had Fluffy in my home, she has been my child. I feed her formula every two hours, I play with her, I hold her, and cuddle her in my arms and she just loves it. When I am sitting at my desk, she likes to curl up next to my foot. She is just the most adorable kitten and God uses her to bring joy to my soul. Sometimes I sing to her and she just loves it.
