this was written by la mour, his best novels are mostly about the acient america and western countries, walking drum is the first book that he wrote about asia. the book should have a sequel nut unfortunately he died before writing it. walking drum is a story of a young boy Keybochard who travel all over the world to find his father. in his journey, he met a lot of peolpe and and gain knowledge. what i like about this book is the vivid description of how much keybochard desired to learn and how much is his hunger for knowledge. you should try this book, before i dont really read books, but after reading this, i was really inpired with his character and now im a reader. this book is now old, my copy is already torn and no more front page, but im still keeping it. a new copy was brougth to me by a friend from US. try reading this, hopefully it will help you.if ever you read this, what did you like and who is your favorite character?
