Law Anti Gambling: US, my country, and yours?

When USA restricted for online gambling, we are just smile because usa people still can play at offline gambling and so people still play poker with their friend.
But in my country, law for gambling is so hard. When you play card with somebody and cath by police, doesnt matter how much you play, you will be in jail for 3 month to 2 year.
How about your country?
