Who's much better? Robert Ludlum or Dan Brown?

They're both good in mixing stories and weaving them in a way that you're not expecting how a thing is connecting to another. The only thing that can differentiate the two is that, personally, ludlum is more descriptive rather than brown. He explains every bits and pieces of a person's character that affects his present actions. On the other hand, Brown thinks more of the present actions of the characters in his story.
