How do you rate Vengsarkar as the chairman of selectors?

Vengsarkar the recently appointed Chairman of Selectors is a well known batsman of yesteryears. He knows his cricket and the best team combination that will eventually lead India to the World Cup. His action of recalling Ganguly was a bold step in the right direction. I rate him ten out of ten. How do you rate him as a selector?

These are still early days. I think we can form a firm opinion about him after the World cup.
