I met an agent from PLDT.
Have you heard something about PLDT my DSL and www.verythingonline.ph ? Their offers I think is better than office based jobs.
They have a 1 PC set up. You could operate an IC and sell more than 200 prepaid products online from 8-25 % mark-up. With VOIP.
You could operate a home based call center or medical transcription and they provide training to qualified applicants. You could earn like a regular office based call center agents.

I've been looking for a few years now for the same kind of work. It seemed I found mostly scams or people that wanted money before you could access their job list. I was getting pretty frustrated until my first night on here I read a post about www.melodysmommy.com. It's great and it's free. I've had a chance to bid on jobs for free and am in negotiation right now to actually get a job.
Another hint I got was to search for "data entry" or "telecommuting work" rather than "work from home" or "freelance"

Most of the "work from home" transcription jobs are scams. Your best bet to finding one would be to contact local doctors, dentists and law firms and see if they could use someone to type documents for them. You'd probably have to go into the office one or more times a week to pick up the files and then you could go home and type them, save to a disk or their system and then go back to give them the disk and files and pick up more files.
Good luck!
