CASTE...is it still practice in INDIA?

lately I've been watching a TAMIL/HINDI movie...this is a social class especially in HINDU system...many problem arise when a guy from the different caste want to marry to a different caste.Is it relevant nowadays?what do you think?

yeh i m afraid it is!! specially in the richer class!! people think its somehow degrading getting there kids married in lower caste whereas .... lower caste people see it as an opportunity to rise above others...if they somehow manage to get their kids married in the upper class families!!
actually the caste system is not much there among the younger generation (as they have been taught) as it is in the older generation!! and out there...you still have to have the permission of the elders of the family to marry!!

I don't think it still relevant nowday. all the human being was created by god at the same level.The different is their obedient to the god, their education and knowledge, their habit and attitude and the quality of life here and hereafter.

I think, they still practising caste in India, especially in remote area. I don't know why there should be any caste in modern world. What if this lowest caste become rich, would they get promotion for higher caste ? I don't know. Any idea ?

yeah...maybe they'll still living in FAIRY TALE or something.but I tell you this...many INDIAN people who migrate to my country and earn a lot of money in my country when they go back to their hometown...people in their village will WORSHIP them like GOD.
