How true is this do you think? What if you don't have anything to give but yourself? Is that not sufficient enough?

it is true. loving is giving. and if you only have yourself, that's not a problem. actually, it is more than enough and more meaningful.

Yes, you can give without loving. Just throw some coins to the street children just for the sake of giving or give extra money to big organizations for publicity if you are rich. Even the poor who do not have even enough for themselves give because they love. If someone loves, he gives himself, his effort, time, and everything that he can except material things because he has none. It's best if we can give ourselves.
