So many people do get carried away with infatuation or magnetism or attraction. You are so right there.
However, I must disagree with you about love - true love. When friendship and respect and sharing develop and grow into love, and that love becomes a lifetime commitment, it keeps growing. It keeps getting better. I have been married to my wonderful husband for almost 47 years and we are more in love now than we were when we married.
Love is real, but love isn't instant.
Love is lasting, but love must have a solid basis of friendship and respect.
Love is worth waiting for, and when it happens, it will never end.

Love is what brings people together, love is the most important gift from God, love is everywhere. I do believe love exists. Infatuation is a different thing often mistaken for love.

i think there is infatuation but to say that love is not true then i must disagree with you..
infatuation would be an exessive attraction and obsession would be an exessive loyalty..
the thing in between would be love where eveything falls into place perfectly..^_^

but what do u say can help me judge whether i m in love or whether it is just infatuation. even in case of infatuation one feels to do the best for the person he likes. then how to make it out?

I Havnt fallen in love as such... But The best love i get is from my family...!!! Love is an infactuation to me in college and in school.Every one wants to have boyfriends and girlfriends just not to be counted out...!!!

Yes, love exists. Love is when Jesus sacrificed His life for us --- to save us from our sins. Love is my parents who are continuously taking care of me. Had they not loved me, I could've been killed by now. Love is my brothers who are willing to risk their lives just to make sure I don't get hurt by anyone. Love is omni present.Love has to be seen with heart.And your heart perceives it with its eyes more powerful than your physical eyes.
