Most diet pills don't really work. They all make a lot of grand claims, but a lot of the over-the-counter pills are ineffective. Xenadrine, however, is quite effective, though it has side-effects of nausea and stomach ache. In terms of appetite suppressants, hoodia has been proven to be quite effective.

I started taking SmartBurn with hoodia 2 weeks ago, and I lost 5 pounds. It really does suppress your appetite. I work until the middle of the night, and have a hard time with eating when I get home, so these pills actually work for me. I haven't followed the instructions on the bottle entirely though. I don't take as many as it says to take every day. I also started to eat a meal replacement bar every day.

They can be harmful if you are not careful. Better to watch the portions and move alot more. When you garden this summer it will be great exercise. Walking til then and lifting your kids to hug them can be good exercise.
Those that you wish to use can give you lightheadedness and rev up your metabolism however if the weight comes of easier it probably will come back easily. Again eating reasonable and exercise is the good way to do it.
I cut our most bread and pop and that has done really well for me. My job is active and I am a type A anyway so you need to find what will work for you.
