It is in my most honest opinion that the Vancouver Canucks will take the cup this year. We have been a hard working team with few lazy games. Luongo has hunger in him. As long as we can hold together and keep ourselves together to make it into the playoffs, we have a chance to take the cup. Good old Kirk was our last great goaltender and he got us to game seven. Now it's Luongo's turn, and I think he has what it takes to get us there with the team that we have.

I would have to totally agree with you. I'll catch you celebrating on Granville in June!

No doubt Luongo is great, no doubt that they're a good team, but if they couldn't win in 2004, I don't know how they'll do it this year.
True that in 2004, they had the Bertuzzi incident to deal with, AND ran into a Hot Calgary Flames team which ended their season early, but I think it'll be Anaheim and Buffalo in the finals. Before the Season started I didn't know whether it would be the Sabres or Senators, but I think I picked the right one.
I hope I am wrong though. I hope the Western Team being a Canadian team continues, in fact I hope it starts in the East. We need to keep our Cup - it's been too long.
