why there is no color square in the chess board ?

i think you should ask this question to the founder, i just think it's maybe because to make it more simple and the contrast color is black and white. you know every people in this world always indicate the black one is evil and the white one is good, so the founder make it to more attractive. beside that, i think the black and white is good combination color more easy and good to be look by us. So our eyes not feel tired when look that, you know chess is need high concentration game.
