I've installed Virtual PC onto my ibook G4. The thing is so damn slow, it's almost not worth having around. But, I do have some windows applications that I need to use so I can't uninstall it. If anyone here knows how to make vpc run faster, I'd really appreciate it the info. Thanks!

Hi there...Unfortunately, VPC runs painfully slow on the Macs. If you haven't maximized your memory (RAM), this will help a bit more. Be sure to not run other applications when using VPC because it's already a memory-intensive application so anything else that is open takes away dedicated memory for VPC.

Thanks for your response. What do you mean by maximize? I only have 256mb of ram, btw.

256 mb of ram is too small. i would say get at least 1gig and allocate half of it to your VPC...
