What is honest to goodness reporting nowadays? I will be a media practitioner a few years from now and easily get dismayed upon finding out that broadsheets and leading network stations do total media black out to protect the interest of their investors (huge paying advertisements). I cannot blame the media industry for doing so because it is a well known fact that advertisements are the blood which keeps these newspaper/stations running and to disclose or oppose these huge paying advertisements will mean betraying what keeps you alive. This, being the case is a tight hole to escape. Is there a way to stop media black out? Everyone deserves an honest delivering of the news after all.
