How to learn program language?

I am a college student who will study in the major of Business Information System. I'm trying to learn some program language such as Java, C++, and Visual Basic. But I feel that it is diffcult to start to learn program language. Do you have some suggestion for me to learn propram language more efficient?

remove the word difficult.u learn with more concentration and intrest u will definitely get it.and alone studing is little bit hard so u take help of ur friends,teaches r any other like that.i know all these subjets because basically i am a computer science engineer.

It is only possible to learn programming with practice. I suggest you try with java. It is more simple and cleaner than C++. Visual Basic is to old and basicly forgotten. When you master one, you learn to program in others with little effort. Rent a book that is advices for starters and go step by step. You will find pletny of literature.
