We live in the country and we love it! We are in a flood plain so about a dozed times a year our lower field floods and we get to see the eagles out fishing in out yard. The kids love to watch the salmon swim by. Our house is on a little hill so we dont get any flooding inside but we cant go down the driveway. Some people thing we are wierd becuase we love it here but it is so nice and peacefull. My hubby has a trail through the woods so he never misses work and if there is an emergency we can get out. We have so much of nature come to our front door you just cant beat it. Where do you live city or country, and what are the things you like the most about it?

I live in the city now, but grew up in the country and miss it a ton. I loved the silence the most. The open air, the way it just did not feel rushed. However, now that I have little girls, I certainly dont know what I would do being so far aways from my Doctors or the Grocery store. :)

The good thing about where we live is that it is only 15 min away from town. Easy to get to but far enough away for comfort. We live in a valley and it is a tight nit comunity hear, everyone looks out for each other and helps each other out. We realy think we hit a gold mine finding this place !

We live out in the country. It love because we not have really an close neighbors so quiet and peaceful. I have lived a few years in the city and hated it was glad to move back into the country. Like to watch the deer in the fields and mom bear and her cubs. Long with all other wildlife that we have here.

Aw, I am jellous, we havent gotten to see bears yet. A few years before we moved in there was one. I gues it is okay though, wouldnt want one to sneek up on the kids or vice versa. We have bob cats ans mountain cats of all kids and tons of coyotes. I think it is great for the kids to grow up here and learn to respect the wild life.

I kinda live out in the country now but its in a mobile home park so it doesnt feel like the country to me.I do love the country. If I could, I would live in a big house and do my own gardening. I dont mean like a small garden . I would have a HUGE garden with every kind of vegetable imaginable. There is so much beauty and sernety to a country life. I wonder if dreams do come true?
