Do you like your name?

Hi I'm new here in mylot and so far I'm enjoying it.
My question would be am I the only one who does not like his or her name? I really don't like 'Stephanie' as my name. Generally Stephanie is a great name but I just don't think it fits my personally.
Do you like, dislike or feel indifferent about your name? If you don't like it that much then why? What name would you like to have if you had the choice?

I don't really care for my name because it's a little unusual. It just doesn't seem to fit me. But I wouldn't change it, because I've had it for 33 years and wouldn't have a clue as to what else to have people call me.

That's my name as well, only my parents spelled it Stefanie. I like it, but have found it's very common.

I really like the name Stephanie, its a pretty name, It was also my sisters name.

hello stephanie and welcome to mylot!.
my name is patrice and i like it because my mum and dad gave it to me. however if i were able to change my name, that is if i had the money to do that, i guess id change it to galina.. i like the soviet sound that the name galina creates.. the name galina makes me think of ballet dances and being a prima ballerina and also of kirov airships and tesla tanks..
by the way i like the name stephanie. makes me think of a pretty classy woman..
