i love this show... does anyone happen to know why they stopped making charmed?

i really wish they wouldnt have stoped making the show.. i remember reading something about the WB not wanting to fund the show anymore.. and a friend of mine said that the girls wanted to do other things as well.. i still wish they would bring it back.. or maybe do a spinn off with wyat and chris!
