History defines us of who we were. It's a treasure trove of lessons learned from great accomplishments to great disappointments. The past is the foundation of who we are weather those foundations were formed in any point in the past, a few minutes ago or even years and decades before that. Just imagine yourself if you're an adult and you have no clue who and what kind of kid you were in the past?! You'll forever be left off wondering and questioning who you are. You may have success in life but deep down you'll feel empty. That's why it's in mankind's instincts to be so curious and interested about things.

I think it is most important to learn from history.
I think it is also very important to read and learn about the same moment in history written by people on different sides of the event.
So often I hear only one side of the argument when there is always a counter point.
