When I'm away I don't want any of you to argue, I hope that you all get on together haha!! I hope life treats all of you fairly, take care and we'll catch up again in 2 weeks time. Adieu my friends

My cousin actually named me. During her time in the air force she visited Ireland once. She really liked the name and thought it was very unusual. My mother liked it also, and I was branded Shiobhan. LOL. I love the name but I dislike the fact that no one can say it right unless they are from Ireland.

Have a wonderful time--and don't get so drunk that somebody has to tell you that you had a wonderful time, because you can't really remember if you did or not! LOL

So you are going to have a nice time in Ireland. But you need not keep away from the net. The Internet is everywhere, and not just in your home. On the other hand we would like to see you writing under the influence of a little guinness.
Anyway have a nice time "Cheers!". ;-)

Hey taurusgirl, so you're another Irish born girl, don't you want to return to your homeland haha. If you haven't been home for a long time you will be totally shocked by how quick it's changing.
And as for the little people, well, they always seem to trip me up after I've a few too many guinness, strange that haha!!

Well I made it there and back, met up with lots of family and some friends, drank some guinness, walked in the fields, talked to the horses, cows and sheep and saw 3 shooting stars in a big black sky. Stood outside the house surrounded by countryside and heard ..... nothing, it was so peaceful, wish I could bottle it up and bring it home with me!!

I hope you have a great two weeks in Ireland, and who know, maybe I will bump into you in O'Connell St some day. I can vouch for the Guinness, as I was en employee of Guinness for many years, and why not take a tour of the brewery while you are here, and taste the free samples. Tell, us all about your visit and the places you have visited when you return to myLot. We will be looking forward to hearing from you.

Well I made it back in one piece! As my uncle lives in the midlands and he only has one car we don't get about as much as we'd like. My cousin will be buying a car over there when we go back in April then we'll be able to roam the land to our hearts content haha!
Why is it the guinness you drink in Ireland tastes so much better than the guinness drunk elsewhere????

Well have a great time Gina, - be good, and if you can't be good, be careful:-)) I know the "craic" is always good in Ireland, spent a long time in Dublin and in Sligo in my dim and distant past! So, while it's goodbye frpm MyLot, it's doubtless "caid mille failte" from good old Erin!!!! Have a wonderful time - and don't drink too much Guinness!!!
