Grand Theft Auto III is the first real-3D game of the world famous GTA(Grand Theft Auto) series. The series, from its first release(GTA I) has been getting brickbats for the violence that it portrays and its language. But you can not expect a criminal to be a polite, mannered and cultured person as the main theme of the series is to become the crime mastermind of the city in which the game is based. In committing any crime you have to go places and for that you need vehicles. People in the city have vehicles and you can easily steal them for your purpose. Hence the name Grand Theft Auto. I do not know much about parts 1 and 2 as i did not play them in their entirety. But from part 3 onwards till GTA:San Andreas, the story is a roller-coaster. In GTA 3, you are in Liberty City and you are a criminal. Once you and your lady partner go on a mission and the cops come. She betrays you and you are caught by the police. As the police are taking you to the jail, there's a blast on the bridge and you escape with another guy. And after that the real game begins as you start building-up your rep to conquer one island after another(there are 3) and finally finding the love of your life and becoming the DON of the city. Forgive me if there are any mistakes as it has been more 2 yrs since I played that game.

great need to play to know that. if u haven't played it yet then you are missing something seriously fun. all of the versions are great and worth playing . graphics are great ,also selected as one of the top ten games of year so it won't be disappointing to try it out if any problem occurs than you have the experts here to help you out anytime .

i think that it's a very good game, but if you play now, you can see that video and sounds are old...so it was good some years ago... now there are more beutiful games...such as GTA san Andreas for example...

its a game where you can do what ever you want, its violent and its recommended for 18 years + . it as a lot of bad contents but its the best selling game in the world!

amazing one, you need to try it, but pay attention it's full of violence, it was made by rockstar game, it's a third person game
