What is your opinion on Evanescence?

Personally, I'm biased! Evanescence is my absolute favorite band. I write songs myself, and I go along the same style music. I can sing pretty much all of Amy Lee's music. Besides, Amy Lee is beautiful, and has a mesmerizing voice. If I could get together with one person in music, I'd want it to be her. My all-out dream would be to sing with her on stage, but I know that will never happen. I am going to do my best to come up with the money to see her in concert for the first time here at the end of March. My fiance has already seen Evanescence twice in concert, and I'm envious. lol So, tell me what you think about this amazing, dark, emotional, gothic band.

I've loved all of their singles so far. "Call Me" is an amazing song with an amazing video. I got their latest album for Christmas, but wasn't terribly impressed with it. I'll give it another listen, though.

i love amy and evanescence... i would love to go to one of their concerts.. but im too lazy to do anything about it... i love most of her songs.. and i can sing some of it... imma guy so dont expect me to be able to do what you can.... but to tell u the truth, i was a little dissapointed at her new album.. the open door.. just my opinion... still, i will always love her band and listen to her music... just because i like it... better then most bands... she rocks and hope she stays that way..

To me, Amy Lee possesses a beautiful poetic mind. Her music has inspired me to write again. I have written several poems which require me to look deep within myself. that is what her music does, it relates to things that many of us have felt in our lives. Her newest album the open door makes me think of all those idiots I used to date and surrend my soul too. I feel stupid now for ever doing that. This music gives me the courage to push forward and not be ashamed for my own stupidity because others have done it too.
