How do I prevent my dog from SheddinG!!??

I have two dogs , , a Jack Russell and a Rat Terrier and both shed badlY!! It would not be so bad if it was just one but with dogs it seems like no matter how much I clean it is still everywhere!! I brush them regularly and bath them on a regular basis but it never seems to HelP!! I donot want my dogs to shed a lot. AnY suggestions would be invited!!
