PacMan for mayor of GenSan?what can you say?

Hey!He is not running for Mayor. He change his mind. But he is running for Congressman. And you know what? Somebody went to our house yesterday and they give some paper to fill up. They said that its from Manny Pacquiao. Its a life insurance application. And if ever PACMAN will win, everyone who fill up those form will recieve a lifetime insurance!

pacman's an idiot! there so many philanthropist nowadays, and i think that's what he should do rather than entering politics. that's why the Philippines cannot progress, due to the ugly political system we have.

all i can say is, it is up to him,,, i have nothing against pacman, so i am supportive of all his undertakings. as long as he can handle the position so well so be it.. after all, we need people like him in politics... good day

I am still not fully convinced that Pacquiao would run for the mayoral race. I think that he would shift to the congressional race so he would be able to help out his friend, presidential son Mikey Arroyo for the much need numbers that the administration would need in anticipation of the next impeachement complaint against her mother, the president.

When ever I am hearing that kind of news, I can't help but laugh. I mean, all those popular celebrities and sports characters are now in our political scene, thereby turning our country into a theatrical act or another boxing game. What ever the choice, it doesn't help. I am not saying we vote the traditional politicos. There are a lot of people who deserves to be voted but getting nicked when counting comes. But let us concentrate on Manny Pacquiao as of the moment. Imagine playing basketball all your life then switching to football all of a sudden. Imagine Tiger Woods playing baseball for the Yankees. Imagine Michael Jordan in the UFC octagon arena. Then imaging Manny Pacquiao the mayor of General Santos City. There is one word that will describe the above situations and that is: DOWNFALL. I am not doubting Manny's heart to help his kababayan. He has the heart but not the ability. If you are all heart with no abilities you will not excel in the field you will delve upon. Imaging Manny that is all heart in the boxing ring without his power and blinding speed. Will he win againg Erik Morales. Hell no. In jumping into the political scene, it is also important that you have the abilities to be a good politican, not only a heart of a good politician. So I must say to Manny Pacquiao, if he doesn't want to hasten his downfall and if he wants to maintain the adoration of all Filipinos in the country and many parts of the globe, DO NOT RUN FOR MAYOR. That's it.

He should concentrate on his boxing and forget it. Man! He didn't even graduate high school. How can he lead a city?
