When do you usually start your Christmas shopping? When do you usuall buy your last gift?

I Christmas shop all year long and am usually finished by the end of October. I pick up things as I see them when I know it is something perfect for a particular person on my list. I get my husband's and boy's "wish lists" around September 1st and that is why I can finish up so early. :) It leaves me free to enjoy watching everyone else shop.

You are who I wanna be!!! LOL. Every Christmas I say that's what I'm going to do next year, but I never do. Last year I did manage to have it all done by the end of Nov. which was a big improvement for me.

End of November is good too! You still missed the huge maddening crowds! I also address all my Christmas cards before Thanksgiving and mail them on December 1st. I like to enjoy the holiday by getting the "work" out of the way early. :)

That's hard on the nerves though. I'd be a nervous wreck. My husband always did that.

I begin my Christmas shopping aproximately two weeks before Christas Eve and end them in the afternoon of that date.

It seems like that's when most people do theirs. I get panicky that I won't find anything when I wait until then to do mine.

Good question. My husband used to wait until about an hour before the stores closed on Christmas Eve to go out and do his shopping. It didn't bother him at all, but it did me. LOL

I am starting next week and I won't finish until Christmas Eve. I try to do shopping for two people at a time, but as I shop if I see something that I think someone will like, I don't hesitate to pick it up.

I like to get mine all done at once, but that's hard to do. I have a really hard time coming up with what to get everyone.

For me it usually depends on when I get into the mood. If it snows I'm more in the mood. Sometimes it depends on when I have money. Since I don't have regular paychecks, I just wait for when it happens. Last year I had a slow year in my store, then one week before Christmas, I had a big increase, so I was shopping fairly late, like Christmas Eve.

If I waited until I was in the mood, some years it might never happen. LOL.

I like to start early, right about now. However, I usually end up buying gifts on Christmas eve because I always seem to forget someone in the beginning ans remember as I am packing. Also on Christmas eve they have lots of discounts, so it works out to wait.
