i heard mention the other day on cnn about talks going on to form one country from canada the us and mexico. as a canadian i couldn't be more against the idea.i can't imagine the citizens of the us wanting to join with mexico either. since canada entered into the " free trade" deals real incomes for working class people dropped dramatically. with the flight of manufacturing to mexico from the us i'm certain that americans are feeling the pinch as well. the competition for scarce resources in canada and the us can only get worse when millions of abject poor from mexico join in. perhaps the us gov't would like some mexican volunteers to fight it's wars.

North American Union would never happen. And don't be so Sure of yourself! As an american I don't want the war to continue any longer than it has to. But, we also don't sit around and wait for people to come in and destroy our contry. I wouldn't want that either. I don't want a union and I am sure it will never happen .It's just talk. We don't want Mexico or Canada why would we what would be the reward for us?

I would not mind having the flow of goods from United States to Canada made easier. AI was checking Amazon.com and other American sites, and there were some products, educational Cds that were far superior to what they had up here. Yet we cannot get these in our stores because of the anti-American attitude of the former Liberal Government. I would hate to have our wages shrink because of the Mexicans. There are some good reasons for the three countries to unite but there are also bad reasons. But if we ere united, then who would be given precedence? That is what we should be asking, not "oh no, once we become the North American Union there will be a sharp decline to the bottom as far as income is concerned."

Wow, I'm surprised they said something about it on CNN. They are trying to fly this under the radar without the American public knowing. There are many books on the subject, one of my favorite being "The Late Great USA" by Jerome Corsi. You might want to check it out if you haven't already.

It is hard to believe that people still are unaware of this. Here is the government website: http://www.spp.gov/ This was all started in 2005 when the leaders of Canada, mexico and the US got together and "cut a deal" without asking their citizens how they felt about it.

Hi, I just wrote a discussion on this very topic too. Yes, I will go through, unfortunately. Our voices do not matter to our leaders because we do not matter to them. They have an agenda to work on and they will not be stopped. The NAFTA superhighway is already being built in Loredo, Texas and foreign shipments will be going to Kansas. Read my post and then go to the link I have given as well. This will only turn out bad for all of us in Canada and America. Mexico I am sure will be glad to get what they believe is their part of the nation back. Practically all the Southern Westcoast of America.
