I've been with her for like a year and 3 months and I love her even if the whole world hates her (Yes, I'm exaggerating a bit but it's true. 99.8% of my officemates don't like her). THEY REALLY HATE HER because she's sometimes a control freak!! I still love her despite that... however, these past few days, things are getting out of hand. Even if I've done no wrong, she'd treat me, us, the management team, like we've done something unacceptable! It makes me feel really sad.... makes me rethink why I should still stay in that company. I don't understand why she has to be mean and strict to those people.. er.. to that person (me) who cares about her so much. Really, I feel extremely sad. I couldn't talk to her because she's put a big gap between us --- makes me feel really uncomfortable having her around.*sniff*sniff* I know she also has personal problems... but it's totally unfair to carry it over in her work place and pick up on people. Isn't it that personal life should be separated from work? What do you guys think?

Yeah... That's true. I tried to be different among all the others and yet, I am still treated the way I am not supposed to. When there are new hires in our company, despite the rumors they are hearing from the pioneer employees, I still talk to them about how great our boss is and how much I admire her. Well, I guess the pioneer employees are right. She really is a control freak. Now I know. Too bad... It still breaks my heart. Now, I'm looking for a new job. Well, we all know how hard it is to find a job that you really like; but ... my boss. She's drivin' me away......... *sobs*

I feel for you. You're right. Personal life should be separated from work, especially if that person is the boss. She affects a lot of people in the process, and this affects the output, too. She should set a good example, but it seems like she doesn't have a control over her personal life and it spills over, thereby making her a control freak (to other people!). I hope she realizes this soon before the others give up on her.

You are totally right. By the way, a lot of people already gave up on her, especially my colleagues. They resigned because of her! And I too, am about to.. because of her. It doesn't feel right working in a place where you know someone is picking on you, especially YOUR boss. She should be the one weighing things, but looks like she couldn't handle it. *shakes head* She should take care of the people who trusts and are loyal to her. I'm not a bad subordinate. I'm never absent, never late (well, except for inclement weather, of course --- but that was ONCE!) and my reports aren't late! So, I see no reason why she has to treat me this way! It's sooo disappointing!*Sighs*

Yes, I do like her... the thing is whenever she's in a bad mood, she takes it out on everyone. She's totally a different person now.... and it's very hard to determine whether it's okay to talk to her or not. There was one time when my colleague and I approached her; upon seeing us, she immediately said, "don't talk to me. I'm not in a good mood." We were like, "uh... ohkeyyy... nevermind." A lot of people heard that and we were both embarrassed! Sighs.

Oh my, it reminds me of my boss who scolded me for the wrong rumors just this monday. She didn't even ask if that rumor is true. I am really hurt on what she did for I admire her for almost 4 years now. It really broke my heart. She got mad at me when I didn't do anything wrong to her or to the company. Isn't it so heartbreaking?

Oh my gosh.. That is totally heartbreaking!!! :( :( :( Your boss should have researched further before scolding you for the wrong rumors! Why are bosses sometimes a pain in the neck?!?! I feel for you... bosses are totally unfairrrr! I hope you recover quickly from that incident and I do hope that you were not scolded in front of other people!

I had a boss just like this at micheals arts and crafts when I was in mgmt- no one like this lady and she came in a bad mood and took it out on everyone, and I would have them to come to me because I was easy to talk to, and I eventually talked to the boss and told her, she said she would act better but it got the point I eventually left the company and sent a long letter to corporate about her. It got to bad to work there anymore. If you have a district manager to talk to , then please do before it gets worse.

She is worse. It even came to a point where the team had an FGD with HR vis-à-vis how she handles her team; yet Management is on her side. That's the saddest part of living. After that incident, she barely interacts with my colleagues -- so she never committed the same mistake again. Now that she got promoted, we, the management team, are carrying the burden of her mood swings. This is the only time that this has happened. I don't know. Maybe her boss is influencing her to become a snob to her team to avoid us from taking advantage of her, which we, honestly are not! Arrgh...

Yes, I would love to do that, only she's always not in a good mood. I just don't want to be yelled at. To think that I'm only her suboradinate, it's quite hard for me to come right up to her and ask why she's picking on me and my team. Last night, she asked me and my team to render overtime. We went home at 1:45 AM!! Some of my associates live a lil further from where our work place is at. *shakes her head* I don't understand...=(
