question for musicians

I was just wondering if there was anyone here who knew how to write music?? I have written some lyrics and am thinking about putting them to some music, but I don't know anything about writing music.. Is it hard to learn how to write music??

My husband is a musican. But he doesn't know ho wto write music either. He can play music on the drums he comes up with. But not write it. Sorry I am of no help.

No, I dont know how to write music. I love only listening to music.
