Hey friends there is a confusion.I have been watching some numbers within the brackets against me.Previously I thought it to be the no. of friends that I do have but then I watched for it and found that probably it may be something different.So will you please help me out?I'll be satisfied...

The number in parentheses is the number of posts you have made (excluding comments).

What do you mean by posts?The disscussions I started or the disscussions I responded to?Or something different?

Both. A post is anytime you start a discussion or respond to a discussion. The only thing not included in your post-count is comments (like the one I'm writing now).
