Do you prefer a particular breed of dog?

I have seen many people going after different types of breeds. Some of the famous ones that i have seen are German Shepherd, Labrador, Bull dog... But my opinion is very different from this. Its just like racism amoung humans. No dogs can be better just because of their breed... I have noticed one thing that. Locals dog breed of many country are more adjusting to the climate changes and its circumstances. I have seen a dog breed "Rajapalayam Breed" which is of Indian orgin and is very good in hunting and have good power of thinking. May be the users can look for some articles on this breed.. but unfortunately being in a third world it didn't gain the popularity it deserves. Hope that more people will come with post related to local breeds of their country than going after the above stated popular ones.

i have a golden labrador and he is a fantastic addition to the family. We have two young children and we needed a dog that would tollerate the kids. From my experience of breeding labs i knew they were safe around boisterous kids its why we chose him, lol
