What was it like for you? Did they make you do anything? At mine the put a big V for Virgin on my forehead with lipstick, then they made us face the back, get on our hands and knees with our heads down while they chanted "Heads down a**es up that's the way we like to f***" and then they auctioned us off to other fans and we had to sit with them for the whole show.

First time I went to the live stage show, I was about 11 years old, and volunteering as a first aider. I went with my mum (!) and hadn't been volunteering very long, so it was a bit of an eye opener seeing all the ushers and usherettes in drag with fishnets. They didn't make me do anything except cover my eyes during the "rude bits" (I peeped!)
It started a lifelong love of RHPS - which is no bad thing.

Thanks for your story archduchess! It's nice to see that I'm not the only one who loves going to the shows. I always hear people tell me that they rented it and found it stupid, and I always tell them that that isn't the way to see it. AP is a necessity! What do you think?

in the UK, the live Tradition is exactly that. actors on a stage. so it's focused around the performance of the musical, rather than the film with a cast performing alongside.
although I would love to go to one of these showings, I do love the stage show.
I met Richard O Brien when I was quite little. he was lovely.
I first saw the film when I was quite young and my sister took me with her when she was babysitting. she watched it then, and I watched it, and thought it was strange but good.
the more I understood, the more I loved it.
I can't wait til I get another chance to see the live show.

Haha! That's great! What is it with Rocky Horror Picture Show and Twizzlers anyway? I remember one time they made all the virgins deep throat them in a contest. I love it!

i was 16 and i went with my synagogues's(sp) youth group of all things. i remember all we had to do was the timewarp and a pledge.oh, and we didn't get to see the whole movie cause the reel broke about 5 minutes from the end. i've only seen it performed a couple of times since then, and that was g-d, 12 years ago. would love to go more but don't know many people who like it that much.

I was supposed to go on Halloween eve, but my wife went into labor and I missed it. Never did get to to again.

My first time watching the RHPS was back before it was a cult classic, it was a midnight show of course, and was only about a dozen people there. A friend and I went there, and next day got a copy of the soundtrack and learned all the words and music. We went again the next weekend, and it was more people but still not the show as it is now. I have gone to see it 25 or 30 times at various places with everything from what I described above, to full houses with and without a stage show. I also went to see the Rocky Horror Show as a play. It is a different experience but just as good as the movie. Right now I am looking for a version of the Rocky Horror Punk Rock Show, I have seen there is a video of it somewhere but haven't been able to find it. If anyone know about that, please let me know.

I went to a theatre that was still showing Rocky Horror. PEOPLE ARE CWAZY!
Guys in garter belts and fishnets. People throwing candy at the screen, and holding newspapers over their heads mimicing Janet as they sing songs and dance. Very productive I must say. :)

My first time ever going to a Rocky Horror Party was when I was a junior in high. A good friend of mine from art class was in to the movie big time like me and had some of us over. I was just one of the extras but she play Dr Frank N. Furter and was funny as all get out! Later on a few years later I dated this gut that dressed up like Eddie for a Halloween party we went to. It was so cool! He looked just like Eddie!
