I think some people are born depressed. It is some kind of chemical imbalance or brain malfunction that begins at birth. What do you think?

No I do not think that individuals are born with depression per se.
There is evidence that babies may be born with a genetic predisposition but that does not mean that they will develop depression!!

I believe I was born with it. I have suffered depression as long as I can remember, and my mother says I was always very different, even as a baby. In most outward ways I was a normal kid and I did all the things that normal kids did, but my mom said I had insomnia at night even as a baby. I didn't cry or play, I just laid there awake.

There is certainly scientific evidence that clinical depression as well as other mental health issues are caused by chemical imbalances in the brain, most often the nuerotransmitters. I know for example that I have bi-polar II disorder, and there is a lot of evidence for it being genetically linked. My grandmother is also bi-polar. I know that I was born this way and that it isn't my fault, it is just the way that I am and so I have to deal with it.

Well, sometimes its unavoidable that we feel depressed for the day..but for the health its not a good side, i believe in Meditation which will balance our mind and helps to be normal at situations
