yes it is better to be safe than sorry. There may be some company there that can test your water. But I would suggest a 5 or 6 stage water filtering system

i am using bottled water to drink.my physician told that the tap water here has high content of magnesium and other chemicals and hance avoid drinking them.so we will be using the bottled water and we will take it along with us whenever we go out so as to avoid change in drinking water.

Does your water contain floride?Do you know? What is the source of you bottled water? Where is it bottled, some places have been known to fill their bottles right out of their city water.

I mostly drink bottled spring water. I'll drink tap or purified water if I have to, though. I can't be picky about it because it's all I drink.

Do you know the source of where the bottled spring water comes from....in alot of cases the bottles are filled with the citys water. I would check. :)

I highly recommend a good water filter, but that is my personal opinion. :)

I'm glad you feel you have safe drinking water.Does the board of water supply have a website there that you can keep up to date on?

It depends entirely on where I am. In my apartment, I use a filter pitcher because the water from the tap tastes disgusting. In general, I don't like city water because I can taste the residual chemicals that were used to "purify" it. I like well water a lot better, if it's a good, deep, clean well.

how good is the filter your using? I would recommend a 6 filter system....you can not always taste the chemicals & added impurities in your water. clear water does not mean clean.

After reading Kevin Trudeau's book Natural Cures "They" Don't Want You To Know About and reading about all the crap that is in our tap water, I will drink nothing but filtered water if at all possible. I might rinse out my mouth with tap water if I brush my teeth, but that's it.

I am in agreement with you.People need to become more aware of the chemicals and actually poisinous elements in our drinking water.I realize since we cannot see these things & the water looks clear people feel their water is clean.Truthfully I would recommend a water filtering system that has 5 or 6 filters in it. No I don't sell water filters....lol...I have just made a point to read up on safe drinking water.I have found issues that relate diseases & disorders to our drinking water. It's not a pretty picture. Thank you for your response :)

No, I have never checked. It is the Sam's Choice that you get from Walmart. Says it's purified by distillation and/or reverse osmosis. Good enough for me..lol
