For Women Only - I Got A Question For You - No Men Please

I've had a lot of ladies email me and ask me questions. They want to know if some of the things they hear about about Black men is true. Why do people think that the myths they hear about Black men is so true? We are just like anyone else in the world. You wouldn't believe some of the questions I get asked. Do you think that I should be honored or angry by these kind of questions? I won't say what kind of questions I get. But you know what I'm talking about. What do you think? Lloyd

You are sure right about that. People definately get straight to the point these days. I wonder what things will be like in 50 years. Will it be worst? Lloyd

Well, you know what they say, "Curiousity kills the cat". Personally, I think it's rude! In this day and age that people are still holding onto such "ole' wives tales"! The fact that women are so bold as to email you and ask you is totally uncalled for, I thought we were above all that nonsense! What do you think?

Hello HeartofFaith. I thought about it a long time before I posted. Didn't really want to at first, but it kept happening. It's just something that I didn't expect. LLoyd

I can't imagine what would possess women to email you and ask you such personal questions. For goodness sakes, those same women would probably be in an uproar if you emailed them asking personal questions. Why they would think its acceptable I have no idea. But I wouldn't blame you if you did feel a bit angry about it.

Hi Lloyd - I think I know what you mean, but the important thing is how do these questions make YOU feel?

Hello Urbangirl. I don't know how to feel. Sometimes it's funny. Sometimes it's sad. But it's amazing that women are so up front with their questions. I don't know what to think. lol Lloyd

Lloyd, I feel as though I have to apologize for my gender being so obnoxious! I think it is shameful that women would email you with these questions. I understand though that they can hide behind the internet, but really that's just ridiculous. It's probably the same women that complain about sexist behavior they tolerate from men. I'm truly speechless here...

I think you might be right about that fact that they can hide behind the internet. I quess it gives them a little more courage. Lloyd

I've..um...been in contact with both white guys and black guys and I don't think the rumors are true. I actually, don't think it's a compliment. I don't think most people mean it as an insult. But the legend stems from slave days and the female plantation owners having relations with the male slaves. Racist people hold that the only reason a white woman would want a black man is because of size.

Lloyd, sweetie...i can't tell you what to think or how to feel. What i CAN say is that if it were me, i would be looking at WHO was asking me these questions and what their motive was. If it is purely an innocently urious question, there is no reason to be angered. If you can tell the person is just trying to get at you, you have every reason to be upset with them. People need to know when to have a little tact. Sure, when you have never had the experience with a black man, your curiosity can strike...however, you need to know when to hold your tongue and when it is appropriate to ask questions. With some people, it will never be alright to ask. Others will be very open. It's the same with anything...different radces, different genders, people with different disabilities...

Yes, I believe black men are very much endowered, blessed are however the appropiate wording is. I even married one. Black men have more spice. After dealing with caucasion men all my life I've found the different cultures, especially in food and ways of life, very close to my own beliefs and ways of doing things.
