The earth has been going thru cycles since the beginning of its existence. We as humans have spent the last 100 years trying as hard as possible to neglect the earth (as a species, not individually). Man has always revered the earth as mother. Only since the industrial revolution and the insception of Christianity have humans turned from earth as mother ans source of all that we use and destroy. The industrial revolution of the late 1800s and early 1900s bread the massive greed that pushes so many minds forward on the earth.
The cycles the earth has gone through have caused many drastic changes, one being the last ice age. The human race is only adding to the up swing in temps in this cycle. The constant disregard for the balance that nature is, is just adding fuel to the fire that is helping to warm the earth.
The developed nations are gaining some form of understanding now that the UN and scientists are able to speak about this publicly, or have finally decided to. The problem being some countries like China, that are not able to, or willing to participate in helping to save the ecosystems around them. The US isn't much better but the social outcry and media blitz may actually do something to change the acts of people.

It is definately both. Active volcanoes emmit trillions of gallons of carbon dioxide and heat into the atmosphere every day. We are respirating and the carbon and nitrogen cycle are in full affect also. The artificial generation of pollutants adds to the process of ozone depletion and increasing temperatures of our planet. As humans burn fossil fuels, there are natural forest fires polluting and giving off gasses. There really is no exact cause of the slow warming of the planet. Alot of things contribute to it, but I do not see it being 'such' a big issue as the media conveys its message to the general public. The fact that global warming is happening is far over rated, and weather patterns have shown to match those of some time ago, so most likely it is just a rollercoaster ride with our planet, nothing much to worry about.

I think that global warming is man made. You have to maintain balance in life.If you upset the balance you upset the life.Think about people. If you are off balance as far as your life goes doesn't everything else seem to spin out of control sometimes?
