Has anyone else had experience with endometriosis?

I was diagnosed in 2002 with endo. To make a long story short I had three surgeries, and after the last one (thank God) we conceived. But now I am two months post-delivery, and I'm in pain most of the time again. Does anyone have any advice?? Working full time and taking care of the baby are really beginning to wear on me since this pain is back in my life!

My sister in law had it and had a complete hys. at the age of 24. She never got to have kids because the Dr. never told her after her (3) surgurys she should try to concieve before the endo. takes over agian. Feel lucky you conceived. Once she had her uterus removed she felt great and hasn't had any pain since. 22 years to be precise!
There are side effects to haviing a complete hys. though.

My dear, endometriosis is a pain. I had to try almost any and every birth control pill there is. I had 3 laporoscopy's and on top of that finally had to have a hysterectomy. Due to the hysterecomy I am pain free but I do not like the fact I can't have any more babies.
I would make sure that your doctor gives you pain meds because endo will bring you to your knees. I wish you didn't have to suffer with this. Good luck to you.

Hi! I suggest you see a doctor about this. From what I learned in medical school, the best solution for endometriosis is to conceive and give birth (which you did). I was just wondering why you had been feeling the pain again post-delivery. That's why it's best to consult a doctor about your pain. Hope everything turns out fine!
