would you mind sharing that time when you almost catch your breath when your partner asked you "will you marry me?" for some, it may be the sweetest surprise, but for me, it wasn't. lol. my partner proposed in a different way, because we were in the middle of a big fight when he did. after giving the most precious ring, he walked away. really, it was one unique way to propose and i'll always have that unique story to tell. =)

Wow!All the proposals mentioned here are very romantic.I never had a proposal from my husband.I would not call it a proposal because when we went steady for a month we are already talking about getting married, yeah that fast. From the start we both knew that we are meant for each other.

that's really a rare way to propose and am sure you'll definitely won't forget it... there's really nothing out of the ordinary with our proposal... i knew it was already coming since we have been talking of how we'd want to spend the rest of lives together... it was just the "when is he going to propose?"... then on our 1st year anniversary (yup! we only had just 1 year as bf-gf) he popped the question... gave me a bouquet of roses and slipped the ring (which by the way used to be his Lola's)... and the rest is history =)

My husband porpose to me during the premier nigth of the Lord of the Rings. He talked to the organizers so they will given him a couple of minutes to talk on the microphone in front. Ofcourse the oranizers will not allow him to do this unless he's a sponsor so he has no choice but to pay the sponsorship fee. So we arrived at megamall and there's a long queue outside of the cinema. When we went it, there's a raffle draw first before the movie starts. I was shocked because his name was the last name called for the raffle. I got a little hint already that something's going on because all the raffle winners are being called by their ticket number & not by their name. So my then husband to be was asked by the emcee if he can say something so he grabbed the microphone and this is what he said: "The beginning of the story was a narration about the history of the ring. It was told that there were several rings created, 9 for th kings, 7 for the elves, the other one for the dwarves and the ONE RING that will rule all the other ring." Of course he receives a lot of BOOOO from the audience because are really eager to watch the movie and they don't have time to listen to a crazy guy doing some speech about the movie. But he continues with his speech. "Tolkien did not know that there was another ring created that cannot be ruled by the ONE RING. The ring is very special, it is the reverse of the ONE RING. If the one ring is about darkness & evil, the other ring is about love & happiness. And I have that ring. I will only give this ring to the I love as a sigb of my love & fidelity. And tonigth I will gladly part from this ring in return of her love." So she called my name and asked me "Will yo marry me?" I was really shock. Some think it was a corny proposal. Some think it's unique. But for me it's the most wonderful day of my life.

While breathing the fresh air of Tagaytay, we were sitting on a bench and watching kids similarly enjoying People's Park. It was our 4th year anniversay. He handed me a card, which i've mistaken to be musical card (since it has a bulk in the middle). Slowly i opened it and placed it near my ear. After hearing no sound coming out of it, took a good look and to my surprise i see a ring instead. "Will you marry me?" he asked. "Yes." Was all that i could say with tears rolling on my cheeks, i hugged him tightly. ~~~ it was the beginning of the end, or so they say haha
