why is it that if person has so much money tends to get more respect than an average decent person?

Money makes the world go round and is the main reason people suck up to people with money. To be around somebody that has money people think will either get them money or make them look like they have money.

I don't think that is necessarily true.. I think it is more on how you present yourself.

Most people tend to think that people who have a lot of money have worked for it and do/know something really well so they deserve respect.
