how to return to pre-pregnancy shape

It's almost a year since i gave birth, and I have not yet returned to my pre-pregnancy weight. I must admit that I didn't excercise discipline 7 months following my birth. Aftewards however, I went back to the gym and still go until now. I even enrolled myself at a slimming salon hoping to shed major pounds. Sadly (because I spent major bucks for the slimming program), my weight is still the same as my first session with them. I honestly could not take away rice from my diet, though I make sure that I just eat a specific amount of portion per day. Do you think I need to change my diet? Will a nutritionist help? What measures have you done to get back into shape and lose excess pounds? Help! I already want to fit myself into my pre-pregnancy wardrobe! :)

Are you still nursing ? I could help you change your diet but you need to tell me what you eat. Send me a message and I would be happy to try to help you - I lost 45 pounds myself in 8 months, 2 years after my first pregnancy !!

No I'm not nursing anymore. So far, i've been quite successful in losing inches by going to the gym but i must admit that i still have to lose post-pregnancy pounds (around 20-25 lbs). Any advice would be appreciated.

We have the same problem.I too is a first time mom and my on is already eight months old. I've also tried a lot of dieting and slimming pills but still I'm getting bigger. I sometimes can't remember the old me. But I have to admit I don't exercise that much. I hope you can get back to me if somehow you'll be able to be successful in losing those pounds.
