I noticed that a lot of people here like to garden.

I think most people plant in the spring. Unless, of course, you are planting things that are planted in the fall. I plant everything in the fall. Seeds need to be frozen before they are planted anyway. Does anyone else plant in the fall?

Yes, we just finished planting some new bulbs in our front yard. We're hoping that our strawberry plants will winter well, we're covering them with straw for the winter.

When you put the straw over them also cover the ground under them. This will prevent the berries from sitting on the ground next year and getting moldy. God luck with that.
