for married people out there, where do you put your wedding ring? on your left hand or right hand? i put mine on my right hand because that's what the priest told us during the seminar. i'm just confused because i see a lot of married couples putting their wedding ring on their left hand. how about you? where do you put yours and why?

We wear it on the left. In the Philippines, the tradition is to put it on the right. But my husband and I quickly switched the rings to the left hand after the ceremony because it was much more comfortable on the left. Maybe it's because we're right handed? For us it was more a matter of comfort. At least we wear them. A lot of people nowadays don't wear their wedding rings.

hi toni! i wear mine on my left ring finger. It is where hubby put it on our wedding day and I haven't removed it since then.

For practical reasons, my husband and I would wear our wedding ring on the left hand. I often use my right hand.. it's my working hand (so does my husbands), all my rings there are always scratched..

i wear mine on my right hand because that's what the priest instructed us to do when we were married.
whenever this topic is brought up, i always remember what my late aunt said, "people in the western world wear their wedding bands on their left hand, while those from the east wear theirs on their right hand. i think it's a cultural thing".

I wear mine on my rigth hand because that's what the priest instructed us to do.
I'm also confused about where to wear it because some say it should be on the left hand because your left hand is the one connected to your heart or something (do I sound really confuse? I can't even explain it well. LOL)

we wear them on our right hands because that's where the priest told us to put them on during our wedding. hubby never took of his ring, while i had to alternately transfer mine from the middle to the ring finger because my fingers got a bit bigger during my pregnancy.

Weddings rings are supposed to be worn on the left hand. Thats the tradition we follow here in India. Sometime to do with a vein being connected directly to the heart from this finger. Its more comfortable as well on the left hand. I'll be getting married soon and that's where my ring will be placed.

We put our rings on our left hand. Here, that's what married people do, I think, although I spent a good amount of time while engaged looking at people's hands to check.

I wear a diamond ring from my husband on my right and my left ring fingers, so I guess no one would be confused as to whether or not I am married :)
