Yeah, thats democracy. As we have always had it, a representative. The representatives we elect vote on issues, we do not. The troop surge idea has not passed yet, so that is a deceptive stance you took.
And what plans are being made for Iran? Nothing has been done there either.
Wait, you live in Canada, what are you even talking about? You aren't American....

yea but America affects the whole world.
Canada is influenced by America, 80% of our trade goes just to you guys, 80%!.
Canadians are basically Americans, especially those in southern Ontario, like me.
Our northerners are a lot like your southerners too, mostly conservative country folk.

your joking rite?
what kind of narrow minded thinking is this? Canada doesn't have any say without America. They are apart of everything in Canada.
what you said is so narrow minded, what gives you the the right to go into iraq and speak authoritatively, take over them?
irony!

I am afraid you are a victim of the liberal press. I do not think that the elections was just about Iraq. I think most Americans think that our presence in Iraq is justified. We have to make sure some sort of government for the people is established there. Democracy is our form of government and it works well here so that is the type we would like to see in Iraq. The people of Iraq want a government of their own also, as was evident with the number of people who voted it their elections. America will not pull out and leave the people without some form of government for the people!
