I truely do hate the woman that my ex cheated on me with. She knew that we were having problems and used that to get to him. We were trying to work things out, but she told him a pack of lies about me. I can't stand her, and I do hate her. I don't want my children around her at all.

I don't understand why everyone hates the "other woman." I mean, I can understand you being angry, but shouldn't 50% of the blame lay with your ex? Does he not have a mind? Can't he think for himself? It sounds to me that if he believed the pack of lies that she told him, he was willing to believe them, or he would have come to you to find out the truth.

You make a good point. I have thought long and hard about it, but I just can't seem to hate him. We have kids together, and I guess that is part of the reason I can't seem to hate him. Oh I do strongly dislike him. I hate her because she was a friend of ours and she knew that we were trying to work things out.

I would have to say no. There are people that I don't wish to be around, people that have broken trust, or proved to be not who they appeared to be. But to actually HATE someone, that is a hard thing to do. I don't even hate my exhusband. Dislike, yes, but hate no. I guess that the only thing that would truly make me hate someone, would be if someone hurt my children. Then it would be more of a vengence towards that person, not hate.
